These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of goodfolktech.com (the “Site”), run by GoodFolk Technologies Inc. (“GoodFolk,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
1. About this site
The Site shares general information about GoodFolk and the tools we build. Our products, like OTcaller, have their own separate terms, which apply when you sign up for or use them.
2. Using the site
You’re welcome to browse and share the Site. Please don’t misuse it. That includes trying to break, overload or get unauthorized access to it, scraping it in bulk, or using it for anything unlawful.
3. Information you send us
When you contact us through the Site, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate, and you agree that we can use it to respond to you.
If you share ideas or feedback, you do so voluntarily, and we may use them to improve our tools without owing you anything for them. We handle personal information in line with applicable Canadian privacy laws.
4. Our content
The Site’s content, including its text, graphics, the GoodFolk name and our fox logo, belongs to GoodFolk or is used with permission, and is protected by law. Please don’t copy, change or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Some illustrations come from third parties and remain the property of their owners.
5. Products and plans
Anything we describe as coming soon or in development is shared for information only. Features, timelines and availability can change, and nothing on the Site is a promise to deliver a particular product or feature.
6. Links to other sites
The Site may link to other websites, including our product sites. We’re not responsible for the content or practices of sites we don’t control.
7. No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee it will always be complete, current or error-free, or available without interruption.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, GoodFolk isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that come from using, or not being able to use, the Site.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Site after an update, you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
